Double Viking Axe
Historically, while single-bladed axes were extremely common tools and weapons in the Viking Age, double-headed axes were relatively rare in real-world combat. They were used in certain earlier cultures (like the Minoans) for ceremonial or specialized functional purposes, such as felling large trees. The more common Viking battle axes included the bearded axe (Skeggøx) and the long-handled Dane axe. Modern double Viking axes are popular for their formidable appearance in fantasy, LARP, and as display pieces.
