Roman Centurion Helmet with Plume

The Roman Centurion helmet is one of the most iconic pieces of ancient military equipment. Typically comes with a crest made of horsehair. The design evolved over centuries, from the Montefortino style (3rd–1st century BCE) to the more elaborate Imperial Gallic and Italic styles (1st–3rd century CE).

  • Made of 18 or 20-gauge steel, with a polished finish.
  • Cheek guards for facial protection.
  • A neck guard at the back to deflect blows.
  • More than just protection, the helmet was a mark of rank and authority.

Roman Centurion helmets are widely used in films like Gladiator and Rome, though often stylized for dramatic effect. Collectors and reenactors often purchase replicas made of steel or brass, complete with horsehair plumes.

Note: Comes with Customised plumes, different colours.
