Viking Lobed Dagger

TheĀ  weapon here is a replica of a medieval coustille dagger.

The historical coustille was developed as an all-in-one weapon that could be carried like a dagger but had the cutting power of a short sword. The style is associated with medieval times (circa 1300) or the late Viking age, as the hilt and blade profile are consistent with designs from these periods It features a straight, polished blade with a central spine, a simple crossguard, a dark handle, and a distinct lobed or “tea-cosy” shaped pommel.
